The Proposed Dormitory was a joint effort between Daniel Cartagena and Marco Sanchez. The dormitory is a place where students are meant to both have space to themselves and yet be able to socialize and meet new people. The project focuses on allowing for that duality to exist. The building is designed so that a large atrium houses public program so that students can interact and work much like in a studio. In response to the atrium the rooms are meant to house one student and provide a private bathroom.
